The Insta/Vent™ is unlike any other radioaerosol delivery system on the market. Its purpose-designed nebulizer creates extremely small particles characterized by an MMAD of 0.3 µm to virtually eliminate clumping and hot spots. It utilizes a 1 Liter non-latex reservoir bag to concentrate particles that would be exhausted during exhalation and makes them available for patient breathing on the next breath. This allows radioactivity to be inhaled quicker thereby getting to the requisite count in as little as 1 to 1.5 minutes. The two-tube system eliminates rebreathing.
